2009 was the inaugural year for for Film for Thought (FFT), a collaboration between HIHumanities and Hawaiʻi International Film Festival, which highlights a series of films linked by a shared theme or topic. As part of this programming, HIHumanities invites humanities scholars in our community to respond with written essays, and panel and facilitated discussions.
