LGBTQ youth houselesness is a crisis in Hawai’i. Join us for a very special community conversation based on the award-winning short film KAMAʻĀINA, the story of a queer sixteen-year-old girl who must must navigate life on the streets–until she finds refuge at the Pu‘uhonua o Wai‘anae. SPEAKERS: Twinkle Borge (Puʻuhonua organizer and youth advocate), Malia Kamalani Soon (first-time actor), Kimi Howl Lee (writer/director), Kalaniopua Young (māhū scholar/activist).
