The Hawai’i Council for the Humanities is excited to announce an upcoming virtual teacher workshop in November: Women and the American Story. This engaging and illuminating workshop series, presented by The New York Historical Society, will provide teachers with primary sources and life stories that is critical in learning about how women were significant in shaping US History.
This workshop is organized by Hawaiʻi Council for the Humanities, Chaminade History Center, and New York Historical Society, and cosponsored by Hawaiʻi Catholic Schools, Hawaiʻi Association of Independent Schools, King Kamehameha V Judiciary History Center, League of Women Voters of Hawaiʻi County, and the University of Hawaiʻi–Mānoa College of Education.
