An original Hawai'i Public Radio program hosted by author Cedric Yamanaka that presents stories by local authors read by professional actors.  Many of the stories are published by co-presenter Bamboo Ridge Press--the most well-known independent literary press in Hawai'i with a record of 30 years of publishing fiction, poetry, and plays that reflect the unique multicultural fabric of our state.

The program tapes before a live studio audience on the first Sunday of every month.

Tune in for an evening of local literature read by local actors and music by Hamajang, the station's quirky house band.

Funded in part by the Hawai'i Council for the Humanities with additional support from the "We the People" initiative of the NEH.
